Vuepoint Named "Rising Star" in Deloitte & Touche's Long Island Technology Fast 50 Program

LONG ISLAND, N.Y., Sept. 27, 2000 - Vuepoint, a comprehensive e-learning company with a business-savvy approach, won recognition this morning by Deloitte & Touche LLP as a "Rising Star" within the Long Island Technology Fast 50 Program.

"Long Island has many terrific companies, so we're truly honored to be recognized by Deloitte as one of the Rising Stars," said Vuepoint CEO Ara Ohanian. "I just want all of our employees to know that their hard work is what's really being recognized here."

The Fast 50 Rising Star award recognizes five promising companies that have been in business no more than four years and have met certain base year revenues and 1999 revenues. All companies must be headquartered in Long Island. This is the first year that the Fast 50 Program is recognizing Rising Stars.

Located in Roslyn Heights, Vuepoint has offices around the country, including in Atlanta, Boston, Santa Clara, Ca., and Waco, Texas. Recently, Vuepoint unveiled its enterprise-wide Vuepoint Learning System (VLS) 2.0, which creates smarter organizations by incorporating dynamic knowledge management into e-learning.

"We congratulate Vuepoint for their tremendous achievement and success in a relatively short period of time," said Adam Weisman, managing partner of Deloitte & Touche's Long Island office. "The Rising Stars are emerging companies to watch. We look forward to witnessing their continued growth and expect that many of them will be named to the Technology Fast 50 list in the years to come."
