Vuepoint Wins Silver for Custom Content in Brandon Hall and Online Learning Magazine's Excellence in E-Learning Awards Program

Vuepoint One of Eight Awarded the Silver from a Pool of 64

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 1, 2001 - Vuepoint, an e-Learning software and services company that matches speed to knowledge with speed to market, today announces from the OnLine Learning 2001 conference and exposition that leading e-learning analyst group brandon-hall.com and Online Learning magazine have awarded Vuepoint's Home Networking Course developed for 3Com Corporation (Nasdaq: COMS) with a silver award for Custom Content.

Now in its fifth year, the Excellence in e-Learning Awards program (formerly the "Brandon Hall of Fame Awards") showcases exceptional work in the eLearning industry by providing feedback and benchmarking to entrants in an overall effort to help advance the industry. This year, a total of 64 entries were submitted in the Custom Content category and were evaluated by over 90 judges with expertise in instructional design and online or multimedia training. The Custom Content entries were assigned to specific sub-categories based on topic, online vs. CD-ROM, and budget. There were six gold award winners and eight silver award winners.
