Vuepoint Launches VLS 5.0 - New, Customer-Driven Version of Its Successful Sales Training Platform


LONG ISLAND, N.Y., March 24, 2005 Vuepoint, a leading training solutions provider for the sales and marketing channel, today announced the launch of the Vuepoint Learning System (VLS) version 5.0, which contains substantial upgrades conceived directly from user requests.

VLS version 5.0 differs from previous versions by offering:
  • Customizable "skins" that maintain company branding and optimize Web page real estate for content;
  • Data analytics - including trend and regression analysis that offer a much-needed understanding of how certain training factors relate to field performance;
  • Online wizards that manage the interface - which, in the past, required a human administrator;
  • Dynamic reports that allow customers to customize data organization;
  • Fully-integrated infrastructure that works seamlessly with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Human Resources software;
  • Templates for content that encapsulate visual and instructional design to allow content developers to quickly design in a low-cost, high-impact manner.

One area of customer feedback, a desire for increased simplicity in data, interface and administrative management, resulted in changes for VLS 5.0 to remove the need for human administrators in these areas. This also makes VLS 5.0 an ideal fit for mid-to-large enterprises of up to 20,000 users who do not have the capability or desire to use internal resources for ongoing support. On the content side, developers are able to customize "skins" and utilize online wizards in order to more easily and efficiently create effective training programs that maintain brand integrity and guarantee key knowledge transfer channel-wide.
