CME Devices Partners With Vuepoint To Provide Online Training for Cutting-Edge Medical Infusion Pump.
Long Island , NY June 20, 2005 Vuepoint, a leading training solutions provider for the sales and marketing channel, today announced that its Vuepoint Learning System (VLS) 5.0 product will be used to train and certify medical professionals on CME Device's flagship ambulatory infusion pump, the Bodyguard 323.
The VLS training software allows nurses and pharmacists to access all the information they need to activate and operate the Bodyguard 323, a highly reliable and feature-rich pump for ambulatory and pole mount infusion therapies. Vuepoint has developed a full product simulation that allows the end user to virtually operate the device on a computer and become competent with its functionality before operating it with patients. After completing the online training course and mastering the product simulation, the end user is approved to use the device.
We are excited to be among the first in our industry to take this important step in training our geographically-dispersed customer base from any location at any time, Ross Kurz, Vice President of CME Devices, said. Vuepoint's expertise in bringing training online and their ability to understand our specific needs as a medical device company made them the clear choice for this initiative.
The VLS 5.0 enables CME Devices to offer its customers consistent training programs and competency evaluations anywhere and anytime. By creating a comprehensive, online training platform with Vuepoint, CME Devices also provides medical professionals with the ability to return to the training course at any time should questions arise as they begin to use the pump with their patients. Additionally, the VLS 5.0 enables CME Devices to communicate product updates on a continuous, real-time basis. |
