E-Learning Thought Leaders From Toyota, 3Com, The Hartford, Deloitte Consulting, A.T. Kearney and GlaxoSmithKline to Discuss Strategies For Developing Competitive Advantages

Long Island, NY, June 12, 2001 - Vuepoint, a business-savvy e-learning company with pioneering expertise in learning content management systems (LCMS), continues its mission to increase productivity by holding the Vuepoint E-Learning Summit 2001, facilitated by e-learning expert Brandon Hall, June 20 in New York City. Global leaders Toyota, 3Com, The Hartford, Fisher Scientific, Deloitte Consulting, A.T. Kearney, GlaxoSmithKline and Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation will participate in a daylong interactive conference to share best practices and discuss strategies for developing future competitive advantages through e-learning.

"This summit offers a valuable opportunity for these global organizations to learn from each other's experiences and plan future initiatives," said Brandon Hall, Ph.D., lead researcher and CEO of Brandon-Hall.com. "Who better to learn from than other world-class companies, implementing e-learning across the enterprise?"

The Vuepoint E-Learning Summit 2001 will give Vuepoint customers a forum to share e-learning successes within their organizations and to receive insight on best practices and trends, themes, issues, strategies and solutions from Dr. Hall and others. One of the trends to be discussed is Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS), a method of creating and delivering targeted, personalized learning content in order to increase proficiency and productivity. Dr. Hall is currently researching the subject for a report due midsummer.

Summit 2001 will also provide Vuepoint an opportunity to gather in-depth information on clients' experiences with the Vuepoint Learning System (VLS) in order to design a better model for meeting their business needs. Users' feedback will influence new features of VLS 3.0, set for release late this summer.

Prior to the summit, Vuepoint is interactively interviewing users via its Web site. Through an online comment feature, they will receive feedback and questions from Dr. Hall as well as Dr. James Moshinskie, professor and director of the Corporate E-Learning Center at Baylor University and a founding member of the e-learning think tank e-LITE, and Vuepoint president and CEO Ara Ohanian. Data gleaned from these interviews will be transformed into customer case studies that will serve as the main focus of the summit's presentations and discussions.

"We designed the summit to gather information on our customers' successes and challenges," said Mr. Ohanian. "By generating new ideas and discussions among clients, we hope to get a clearer understanding of what corporations are facing so we can anticipate their needs and take another step closer to fulfilling our mission of 'knowledge seeking people.'"
