CERTPOINT - VUEPOINT CLIENT FORUM FOCUSES ON E-LEARNING’S BUSINESS IMPACT AND MEASUREMENT

... Knowledge Management Drives Retention and Business Growth ...

LONG ISLAND, NY, March 1, 2006 Vuepoint, a solutions provider that rapidly transfers product and brand knowledge throughout organizations of all sizes, recently held its Vuepoint Forum Live – a bi-annual event which increases customer value and satisfaction through client community sharing and direct interaction with Vuepoint product developers.

This year’s forum debuted the Vuepoint User Group, a direct-access support team designed to connect clients with Vuepoint technology leaders in an open, interactive environment. Attendees participated in one of three breakout groups – technology, instructional design and
content creation – to partake in capabilities demonstrations, and to discuss best practices and solutions for user challenges.

Ara Ohanian, CEO of Vuepoint, delivered the keynote on the cost revenue continuum, which focused on the factors help organizations make an impact upon their respective markets, employees and shareholders. To better leverage these factors, businesses are integrating
e-learning into their daily operations in order to keep costs down while driving revenue up.

“Putting knowledge to work through e-learning is a key component in generating productivity within a workforce,” said Ohanian. “A company’s commitment to its employees’ personal development can directly impact overall retention rates. Retaining key talent is critical to organizational productivity, not only due to increased talent competition, but also due to costs associated with turnover and time spent increasing new hires’ learning curves.”

Other presentations included:

o “The Challenges of Content Creation,” presented by Black & Decker
o “Toward 2010,” presented by Toyota France
o “The Impact of E-Learning,” presented by Midwest Energy Association
o “Measuring Accountability,” presented by Vuepoint’s Dr. Jim Moshinskie
o “Managing an Evolving Knowledge Workplace,” presented by Vuepoint’s Michael Utvich

In addition to the Vuepoint User Group, the forum focused on three additional critical themes highlighting issues impacting clients, including: Business Impact Presentations, Client Solutions, and Product Roadmap. Each theme framed the focus of the three-day session and represented areas where the company’s core value in lean thinking – the systematic reduction and elimination of waste in product development and business processes.

Since its inception in 1997, the VLS system has offered rapid implementation for a single platform, Web-based training solution, either hosted or behind a firewall. There are no hidden implementation delays or surprise costs, and employees at all levels can access the full complement of system capabilities immediately. For companies seeking to quickly transfer product and brand knowledge to a
geographically-dispersed employee base, this can make a multi-month difference in deployment time, while eliminating the time and geographical hurdles associated with more traditional modes of employee training, such as offsite meetings.
