CERTPOINT Receives High Marks in Metagroup 2004 Learning Management Systems Review
Achieves Top Category Ratings For Customer Perception, Expertise, Usability, Scalability, Localization, Authoring and Content Management

CERTPOINT today announced it received the highest rating in customer perception and in numerous categories within report, including expertise, usability, scalability, localization, authoring and content management, in META Group's twelve vendor review of Learning Management Systems.

The METAspectrum LMS evaluation offers an objective assessment of companies providing delivery, tracking, hosting and administration of learning events and is designed to allow company executives to quickly evaluate vendors.

META Group analyst Carrie Picardi explains, "the criteria for the personnel area is based on the organizational mix of skills, experience, expertise, capabilities and leadership that enables proactive, effective execution of strategies, plans, tactics and initiatives to achieve goals and business objectives." She adds, the customer perception area measures "relative awareness on the part of existing and potential customers about capabilities, offerings, vision, and focus . . . based on customer feedback from vendor-supplied references and META Group clients."

"Understanding the depth of research and interviews performed by the META analysts, it is deeply gratifying to see our passion for customer service reflected in the positive feedback from our customers," said Ara Ohanian, CEO of Vuepoint. Reports note Vuepoint's complete suite offering and its focus on delivering product knowledge to complex sales and support channels

CERTPOINT announced today its inclusion by Gartner Research in two recently published industry analyst reports, the 2004 Magic Quadrant for Learning Management Systems, and 2004 Magic Quadrant for E-Learning Suites.

Jim Lundy, Gartner Vice President and Research Director and author of both reports, highlights Vuepoint痴 focus on delivering product knowledge to complex sales and support channels, as well as its support for mobile learners. In his E-Learning Suite report, Mr. Lundy notes Vuepoint's complete suite offering of LMS, LCMS, collaboration, and professional services capabilities.

Jim Lundy, Gartner Vice President and Research Director and author of both reports, recommends that customers evaluating LMS vendors "pay close attention to their e-learning suite capabilities" and explains that capabilities still vary a great deal among vendors. Mr. Lundy also cites evidence that "professional services are becoming a selection criterion because clients want to deploy quickly and often need help with e-learning strategies, planning and implementation."
